The second tournament on our schedule did not disappoint with plenty of top Ontario based and US based teams making the trip to London, Ontario. The Michigan based, Detroit Little Caesars had a comeback victory in the finals after scoring a late powerplay goal in the 2nd period and the game winner half way through the 3rd to hold on to a 4-3 win over one of the GTHL’s top teams, Toronto Junior Canadiens. Little Caesars was led by the offensive talents of Massimo Santa Maria, Landon Jackman and Vincent Arnone, while Greyson Mielock locked down the crease with a tournament best 5 wins and GAA of 1.29. The Junior Canadiens do not have to wait long for a shot at redemption as they are in the same division at the highly anticipated Silverstick Tournament at the end of November.
